Order for complex pallet transport system

CSi, the Dutch supplier of intelligent product handling systems, is making sure that one of her clients in France is able to increase her output capacity to 770 pallets by the hour. And that for 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. The client is one of the largest producers in the world for fast moving consumer goods and in particular of Fabric and Home Care products, The value of the order amounts to about 6 million euros. The complete project will be delivered this year.

Technically the project concerns the transport of pallets from the production lines through a long tunnel into the warehouse and further the transport to loading docks for automatic truck loading. In this system about ten pallet elevators and over seventy transfers are included. Because of the amount of pallets, the diversity of the products and the distribution planning, this project is an extremely complex project, especially in the field of control.
This customer and CSi boast a long relation in the field of internal transport and palletising. Already 12 years ago CSi supplied the old system and the reliability of this system as well as CSi’s important role in the system design have been the basis for the order of this new system with CSi.
So after an intensive preliminary stage the customer is convinced that CSi is the only one to be able to handle such a complex project successfully.
